Managing Principal

In his current capacity, Mr. Holly is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day activities of POB Capital LLC, including all investment activity, client relationships, product development, marketing, operations, and administration. Rich has over 28 years of experience in finance and real estate investment. During his career, he has been responsible for the acquisition, development, financing, and disposition of over $5 billion of commercial real estate in various sectors, including multifamily, retail, hospitality, office, and industrial.

Prior to joining POB, Rich was Executive Managing Director at Murphy O’Brien LLC, where he oversaw all investment activity nationwide. Prior to Murphy O’Brien, he was Managing Director at Canyon Partners. At Canyon, he oversaw all investment activity in the Midwest region. In this capacity, he invested equity for acquisitions/redevelopments and ground-up developments through the Canyon Johnson Urban Fund. He also sourced and structured high yield debt opportunities at Canyon. Before Canyon, Mr. Holly spent 18 years at various institutions, including JMB Realty, Countrywide Capital Markets, KeyCorp Private Equity Group, and Citicorp. His main focus during this time was commercial real estate finance and equity investments.

Rich received a Bachelor of Arts degree from The University of Iowa.
